Sometimes it hits you unexpectedly – and yet strikes right to your heart.
On June 9, 2025, the Club Elegant in Oberbüren closed its doors. For many of us, it was much more than just any sauna club – it was a special place. A space to relax, to enjoy, to be human.
A Club That Lived Up to Its Name
„Elegant“ was not just a marketing word – it was tangible. From the stylish ambiance to the quiet music to the attentive ladies and the well-mannered clientele: anyone who had been there knew that standards mattered here. No stress, no kitsch – just pure comfort.
The club was so much more than just a meeting place for erotic encounters.
It was a little escape from everyday life.
A place where you felt welcome – whether alone, with friends, or simply to unwind.
Why Is It Ending Now?
As is often the case in life: not for lack of passion, but for economic reasons. Despite all the effort, events, and loyalty programs, in the end it simply wasn’t enough. The official press release on the website club-elegant.ch confirms it: operations have ceased as of now.
And yes – that hurts. For guests. For employees. For everyone who helped build the club.

If you still have a winning ticket or a voucher – no worries:
They remain valid and can be redeemed at the Saunaclub New Blue-Up in Pfäffikon ZH. A small consolation at least.
